Slamming your locker shut and hauling your backpack over your shoulder, you sighed. It was finally the end of the school day, and nearly the end of your senior year. After graduation, you could finally hunt.
You had known Sam and Dean for years. When you were twelve, a ghost had attached itself to you, harming anyone who came into contact with you. Your parents kicked you out from pure fear and told you to never come back, and you spent weeks on the streets, avoiding all possible interaction.
Until Sam and Dean. Within a day they figured out what was wrong and took down the spirit. When you refused to go back to your parents or with social services, they introduced you to Bobby Singer. The man quickly became like your uncle, and agreed to take you in. You helped around Bobby’s house and the occasional hunt with Sam and Dean.
They promised to take you hunting with them full-time, but their requirement was that first you get your high school diploma. Now that was only a few months away.
You made your way through the school and out the main doors, waving to Sam and Dean across the road where they sat in the impala, waiting for you. Before you could go to them though, you heard someone call your name.
“(yn)! Wait!”
Turning around to look behind you, you saw Brad running towards you. You smiled and waved, showing him that you were indeed waiting.
Brad was a good friend from the group you hung out with. You weren’t really close with anyone, a hunter’s life prevented that, but you had friends that you did projects and ate lunch with. Now, Brad jogged over to where you were standing, grinning.
“What’s up, Brad?”
Suddenly, his happy demeanor was gone and Brad looked nervous. He raised his hand, rubbing the back of his head anxiously. “Um, well, you see (yn), I know you aren’t going to prom with anyone, so I thought, that maybe you’d like to go with me?”
Your eyes widened slightly. “I-I wasn’t really planning on going…” You answered honestly, but quickly backtracked when his face fell. “But sure, I’ll go with you.”
Brad beamed. “Great! I’ll see you tomorrow?”
You nodded, and Brad scooped you up in a hug shortly after. You finally crossed the street, sliding into the back of the impala. Dean spun around in his seat not a second later. “Who was that guy?” He asked.
You pulled on your seat belt, answering casually. “Brad. I’m going to prom with him.”
“That’s great.” Sam commented joyfully.
“Great?!” Dean retorted. “Great?! What if he turns out to be a vampire? Or a skinwalker? Or a-“
“I think I’d know if my friend was a monster, Dean. Stop freaking out and just drive already. I have an essay due tomorrow that I need to get done.”
Dean shot you a glare, which you and Sam only chuckled at, before starting the car.
With only two weeks left before prom, you forced the boys to drive you to a store. You were going to prom, despite Dean’s protests, and needed a dress. Bobby ended up agreeing with Sam, saying you only had one senior prom, and together they ganged up and hounded Dean until he said yes.
All three men insisted on going to the store with you, which was quite a spectacle. They crammed together on a small cushioned bench outside the dressing room while you tried on gowns.
Sam helped you pick out some to try, and he and Bobby offered their opinions when you modeled, while Dean sat squished between them and sulked.
Finally, you found a (fav color) dress with the perfect length. It was under $100 too, which pacified Dean somewhat.
Finally, on your prom night, you got ready and came downstairs in your dress. You didn’t want to do one of those ‘dramatic walk-down the staircase’ entrances when Brad came, because that would give Dean time to chew him out.
When the doorbell rang, Sam answered. Brad came in nervously, holding a corsage for you. You left Bobby’s living room and met Brad in the front hallway, his eyes widening upon seeing you. He slipped the flower on your wrist delicately, and Bobby swooped in to take a picture of you two together.
You took Brad’s arm and walked down the front steps, only to be stopped. Dean had grabbed Brad’s arm.
You groaned.
“(yn), just go to the car.” Dean told you.
Crossing your arms and huffing, you complied angrily, stalking off to Brad’s car. Brad looked at Dean anxiously.
Sam joined Dean with Brad on the front porch. “Listen, kid,” Dean started. “I know what time this prom ends. You bring (yn) back by midnight.”
In unison after having done it so many times, Sam and Dean pulled out their fake FBI badges. “If not, we have guns, and we will find you.” Sam finished.
Brad nodded hurriedly. Dean signaled for him to go, and your date practically ran to the car.
Brad had you back at 11:30.
You kissed him on the cheek exiting the car, waving gratefully once you got to the door. After Brad got over his initial terror, prom was pretty fun.
Dean was waiting for you inside, sitting on the couch and downing a beer. You plopped down next to him wordlessly, the fabric of your dress creating a nest around you.
With a satisfied sigh, you kicked off your heels, and reached under your skirt to tug off the leather thigh holster that held a silver knife.
Dean was shocked silent as he looked at the contraption you had had with you the entire evening. After a minute, a proud smile broke out over his face, one that matched yours. “That’s my girl.”

The Cure (CastielxReader)
Dean had gone to a bar to 'celebrate kicking that wendigo's ass'- which actually meant 'to get laid' when Dean said it- and had literally dragged Sam with him by the collar so he could 'loosen up some'. Both had tried to get you to join, but you just wanted to sit down and relax. You ached all over.
You were sat on the sofa, chocolate face mask on, beer in hand, and choosing a movie when you heard the flutter of wings. “Oh hey Cas, what flew you in?”
“My wings”
“No shit Sherlock” you couldn't help but chuckle as he tilted his head like a puppy “What are you doing here?”
“Dean said you w

Not Like Other Girls - Dean x Reader
You were in the bathroom, getting ready for bed when Sam and Dean came into the motel room. Their voices were louder than usual, so you stopped what you were doing to listen to them.
‘Dean, why don’t you just tell her?’ Sam asks.
‘Because I don’t want to be disappointed, you know what, maybe I should’ve just kept my mouth shut to you,’ Dean mumbled, clearly not happy. You frowned, you didn’t like it when Dean was unhappy.
‘Why won’t you tell her Dean?’ Sam asked, obviously confused. Something churned in your stomach, Dean was on about some girl, some girl that would never be

Castiel x Self Conscious!Reader: Beauty
You stare down at the scale in horror. "Th-That much?" you whisper, the number a bit higher than you'd expected--or wanted. You pinch at the soft layer of pudge covering your belly, sighing. All the crappy fast food you've been eating on the road is getting to you. You'd thought that running around chasing monsters and whatnot would compensate...but you seem to have thought wrong.
Groaning halfheartedly, you step off the scale and head out to the motel living room, grasping the familiar trench coat thrown haphazardly over the couch, falling onto the cushions and curling up on the uncomfortable dingy brown excuse of furniture, and wrapping th
